Modding Morrowind

I don’t think there’s any game I’ve spent more time on than The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. There’s so much to do and it’s just such an absorbing game. Exploring the island of Morrowind is great fun and there’s nothing more satisfying than completing quests and gathering riches. The two expansions add even more content, and when I discovered the world of Morrowind mods a whole new world opened up to me.

First of all, you can make the game looks so much better by downloading a few mods. While the graphics were good for their time, now they are horribly outdated and so it really helps bring the world to life to do this. Then, there are also many gameplay mods and mods that add new locations, expand old ones, and ones that just add new quest, giving you a brand new experience and making it so you can get even more out of this game.

There are many great sites, but my favorite is Planet Elder Scrolls. It has tons of mods, not only for Morrowind, but also for Oblivion.

Speaking of Oblivion, I’ve finally started upgrading my PC by giving myself two gigs of memory. Next will come a video card and then a processor. I’ll have to wait a little while for those since I want to make sure I have enough to pay for books, and they’re quite a bit more expensive than memory. That may be a good thing though, since better cards will be cheaper by then.
